Eric's Story
I've been a supporter of the impactful work of Bridges For Music since it's earliest days in 2012 and have wittmessed the perseverance of the team in pursuit of their mission and purpose. https://bridgesformusic.org Along the way serving on Board of Directors since 2018. Once again we are cycling from London to Amsterdam across four inevitably very windy days (please join us if you feel inspired!) to raise money for the cause - empowering young creatives from under-served communities through programmes focused on creative entrepreneurship, social leadership, well-being and music!. Donations go directly to funding the construction of a new building for the youngest kids at the Bridges Academy in the township of Langa in Cape Town. Young students - 8-16 of age will have access to new after-school programs, daily food, counselling and mindfulness support, keeping them away from the streets where they often are exposed to gang violence and crime.
